Executive director of Trash Free Maryland, Julie Lawson, organized a 4 day expedition of Chesapeake Bay. Lawson brought together plastic pollution experts, educators, policy advocates, environmentalists and journalists to collect water and sediment samples and study the Chesapeake Bay waterway.
