The Women’s March and its Sister Marches is a worldwide protest on 21 January, 2017, in support of women’s rights and other causes including immigration reform, health care, evenvironmental issues, LGBTQ rights, racial justice and worker rights. The protests were timed to follow the inauguration of Donald J. Trump as president of the United States. It is the largest one-day protest in US History. The march drew more than 500,000 in Washington, DC.
